Turn a tweet into an image
A screenshot of a post drags in the app around it: the status bar, the buttons, the reply box and whatever else was on screen. Paste the link to a post on X here instead and you get the post on its own, set as a clean card you can share anywhere.
It's free. Any public post works, yours or someone else's. You don't sign in, nothing is posted for you, and you can make about 10 images a day.
How it works
1. Copy the link. On X, tap Share on the post and copy its link. A link from x.com or twitter.com both work, with or without the extra bits after the question mark.
2. Paste it and press Make it. Orbit Cards reads that one post: its words and who wrote it. Within a few seconds you see it drawn as a card.
3. Pick a design and download. Choose from six designs (Classic post, Minimal, Notebook, Pull quote, Polaroid and Newspaper clipping), pick square, portrait or story size, and download the PNG.
Good to know
The card shows the words of the post. Emoji are left out, and a post that is only a photo or video shows “(photo)” in place of text. Deleted posts and posts from protected or suspended accounts can't be read, so you'll see a message saying we couldn't find it instead of a card.
Every image carries a small “Made with Orbit Cards” mark. That's what keeps this free.

Is it free?
Yes. You can turn about 10 posts a day into images without paying or signing in. A post someone already looked up today doesn't count against your 10.
Why is there a mark?
The small “Made with Orbit Cards” mark is how the free images pay for themselves: people who see it can find the tool. The paid card pack has no mark.
Can I make an image of someone else's post?
Yes, any public post works. Please credit the author when you share it.
Why couldn't it find my post?
The post may be deleted, or the account may be protected or suspended. Only public posts can be read. Check the link opens on X when you're signed out.
