Terms
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and [Legal name of the person or company], [Street, postcode, city, country] ("we"), for using Orbit Cards at orbitcards.app. By signing in or buying, you accept them. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
The service
Orbit Cards reads your X account (read-only, with your permission) and lets you make images from it: X headers, profile rings, recaps, milestones, shout-outs and other cards. You can download them, copy them and post them yourself. Orbit Cards never posts to X for you, and does not keep the cards you make.
Orbit Cards is not made, endorsed or run by X Corp. It depends on X's API, so if X changes or limits it, some cards or reads may stop working.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. You may only connect an X account that is yours or that you're allowed to manage, and you're responsible for what happens under your sign-in.
Plans and payment
- Card pack ($9, once): one read of your X account, and 30 days to make cards from it.
- Monthly ($4 a month): a new read on the 1st of every month and the cards, until you cancel.
Prices are shown before you pay. Checkout is run by Polar, which sells to you as merchant of record and handles payment, receipts, tax and refunds under Polar's terms. Prices include or add tax as your country requires. We may change prices; a change to Monthly applies from your next billing period after we've told you, and you can cancel before then.
Cancelling Monthly
Cancel any time in Receipts and billing (or from your account page). Monthly stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, then stops; you won't be charged again. We don't refund part-used months, except where the law or the section below says so.
Refunds and your right to withdraw
If you're a consumer in the EU, UK or a country with similar rules, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. A read is delivered as soon as it runs, so when you start a read you ask us to begin straight away and agree that you lose the right to withdraw once it has run. Until your first read runs, you can withdraw and get a full refund.
Separately, if a read fails or the service doesn't work as described, write to us and we'll put it right or refund you. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Friend links
A friend's link takes $2 off your first purchase. When someone you referred first pays, you get one extra read, up to 10 a month; if their payment is refunded before you've used the read, it's taken back. One reward per X account. We may end or change the offer for new referrals, and can withhold rewards that come from abuse (fake or duplicate accounts, self-referral).
Your cards and what you share
- The cards you make are yours to use, personally or for your business, including posting them anywhere. The designs, templates, artwork and software behind them stay ours; you may not resell the templates or rebuild the service from them.
- Cards show your posts and other people's public X details (handles, names, profile photos). You're responsible for what you share: don't use cards to harass, impersonate or mislead anyone, or to break X's rules or the law.
- We may close an account that breaks these terms.
Things you may not do
Don't try to get at other people's reads or accounts, overload or probe the service, get around payment or limits, scrape it, or use it to collect data about other people.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Orbit Cards running and your data safe, but can't promise it'll always be available or error-free. We may add, change or retire card designs and features. If we shut the service down, we'll tell Monthly subscribers at least 30 days ahead and refund any period paid for and not provided.
Liability
We're responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or of our negligence. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for anything X does. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law doesn't let us limit.
Ending
You can stop any time: cancel Monthly and use "Delete my data" in your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; if we close one for no fault of yours, we'll refund any period paid for and not provided.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for changes that matter, tell signed-in users before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [Country], and its courts handle disputes. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and can bring a claim there. Please write to us first at [privacy@orbitcards.app]; most things can be sorted out quickly.
